As some of you will be aware, this is not my first (sports blog) rodeo… I did initially take on the challenge of creating and writing posts for ‘A Sandpit Full of Sporting Dreams’ as a side hobby in November 2018. You may have also seen a small number of posts relating to athletes and events here in the UAE, along with other sporting areas of interest.
Due to some life changes and the impact of COVID-19, the blog was put on hold, as the UAE and seemingly the world, came to a complete standstill in terms of sport.
With that, and some irreversible technical difficulties, I have decided upon a fresh start for this blog, with completely new posts and a ‘new look’ home page. I am really looking forward to writing again about my experiences of sport and physical activity here in the UAE, in whichever capacity that may find itself.
I hope you enjoy the blog and I’d love to hear any feedback you may have.
